Digital Health Africa Wins Tech Impact Fund 2023

After an extensive and meticulous selection process, Tech Impact Club Africa has declared Digital Health Africa as the recipient of the prestigious Tech Impact Fund 2023.

TIC Africa has chosen to support Digital Health Africa in their endeavor to organize the Digital Health Student Bootcamp 2023 with a generous grant of $3,000.

The Digital Health Africa Student Fellowship is a transformative 4-month project aimed at fostering digital health skills and promoting innovation among undergraduate students in Africa.

The initiative will identify and empower 20 talented undergraduates from various African universities, equipping them with relevant digital skills, research expertise, and entrepreneurship know-how through intensive 2-month capacity building workshops.

During the fellowship, these chosen students will be encouraged to identify and develop innovative digital health solutions that address the unique needs of their respective communities.

The culmination of their efforts will be showcased at the Final graduation event, where the top 5 solutions will be highlighted and incubated for further development and support.

Tech Impact Club Africa has a commendable track record of supporting similar initiatives in the past and is now thrilled to extend their impact beyond the borders of Nigeria, reaching out to West African and East African communities as well.

“We are excited to announce Digital Health Africa as the winners of the Tech Impact Fund 2023,” said James Fowe, Chairman of Tech Impact Club Africa. “Their Digital Health Student Bootcamp project aligns perfectly with our mission to empower young minds and drive positive change in the field of digital health across Africa. We look forward to witnessing the innovative solutions that emerge from this fellowship and the lasting impact it will create.”
