ENSG Extends Online Verification Deadline for Workers, Pensioners

Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State -

Enugu State Government has issued notice to all staff and pensioners that the closing date for the online verification exercise has been extended to Friday, 28th June 2024, Techeconomy can report.

In a statement available to Techeconomy, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, secretary to the State Government, confirmed that the committee on verification of workers in the State said there will be no further extensions.

“Every eligible staff member and pensioner under the categories of Enugu State Civil Service, State Parastatals, ESUBEB, Tertiary Institutions, and State Pensioners is required to complete the verification process by visiting the online portal.

“Use your salary or pension bank account number and your verification code for sign-up. This verification code can be obtained from the Office of Head of Service by a designated MDA Payroll Officer.

“The detailed guideline for the exercise is also available on the website.

Required Documents for Staff verification by Enugu State Govt

The following documents MUST be uploaded to the website in PDF format during the verification process:

  1. Letter of First Appointment
  2. Proof of Date of Birth
  3. Confirmation of Appointment Letter
  4. Gen. 35 (Notification of most recent promotion)
  5. First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC)
  6. National Identification Card (NIN)
  7. Any other relevant supporting document
  8. For Pensioners, the Pension Form and Pension Authority must be uploaded

“We urge all eligible individuals to complete this exercise promptly to ensure the smooth operation of government services. For any inquiries or assistance, please call the contact phone numbers provided on the website: +234 (0) 704 680 0365 or +234 (0) 902 127 7271.

“Note: The physical verification exercise will commence as soon as the online process is completed on a yet-to-be-announced date”, Prof. Onyia said.
