Enterprise Life, a forward-thinking insurance company, has launched AdvantageConnect, a financial solution built to reshape insurance and financial planning in Nigeria.
The official unveiling took place at Four Points by Sheraton, Victoria Island, where the company introduced AdvantageConnect as an application designed to connect individuals with dedicated life planners, offering tailor-made life insurance solutions.
Daniel Larbi-Tieku, Group CEO of Enterprise Group, shared the company’s journey and vision during the launch. He emphasised Enterprise Life Nigeria’s commitment to being a trendsetter in the insurance industry. Larbi-Tieku stated, “We’ve been very determined from day one to be different and better, with a clear focus to usher in a new era in the insurance industry, deliver a new experience and redefine the way insurance is packaged, sold and delivered to Nigerians.”

Recognising the critical importance of financial inclusion, Larbi-Tieku addressed the issue of limited access to financial solutions, including insurance, in Nigeria. He noted, “Financial inclusion is so critical to building wealth. Many Nigerians do not have access to financial solutions, including insurance. Insurance penetration in Nigeria is less than 1% of the population because many still believe that insurance is an afterthought or something for the old.“
In response to this challenge, he affirmed the company’s commitment to changing perceptions, stating, “We are affirmative to changing that perception by deploying and creating products that put minds at ease because we do not sell insurance but offer you an advantage to keep you ahead in life.”
Funmilayo Omo, Managing Director/CEO of Enterprise Group Nigeria, reiterated Larbi-Tieku’s notion, pointing to the significance of AdvantageConnect in the insurance sector. She shared insights into the company’s history and dedication to providing affordable life solutions. The flexibility of AdvantageConnect was highlighted, catering to customers through in-person meetings, video interactions, and even self-service portals. Omo stressed the importance of aligning with customers’ preferences and providing convenience, especially for the digitally savvy younger generation.
“Our life planners are available in person and that’s why we use the geolocation technology. They are also available by video, we have digital tools.”
Olorundare Sunday Thomas, Commissioner for Insurance, lauded Enterprise Life for its innovative approach and expressed confidence in the success of AdvantageConnect. Thomas acknowledged Enterprise Group’s pedigree and emphasised the importance of value-driven products like AdvantageConnect in the insurance sector.
