The stage is set to celebrate Nigeria’s finest tech brains as Cavista Technologies (a subsidiary of Cavista Holdings) has announced the 3rd edition of the Cavista Technologies Hackathon.

This highly anticipated event provides a dynamic platform for undergraduate students in tertiary institutions to collaborate, innovate, and build impactful solutions to real-world challenges.

The competition is open to all undergraduates from tertiary institutions in Lagos and surrounding areas who possess tech skills and a passion for problem-solving.

Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their creativity, technical expertise, and work as a team to develop real-world solutions that make a difference.

Interested students are encouraged to apply by visiting the website.

Applications will be screened and those shortlisted will participate in a 24-hour hackathon with millions of naira in cash prizes for the winners and runners up.

Making the announcement, the General Manager, Cavista Technologies, Oyebola Morakinyo revealed that the theme for this year’s event is Smart Automation: Enhancing Care through Integrated Systems.

According to her, “the choice of this theme is to challenge our participants while helping them think critically, improve their tech skills, and sharpen their presentation abilities. It provides our students with a great opportunity to develop problem-solving skills and embrace innovation.”

As a flagship initiative of Cavista Technologies, a global leader in software solutions and development services, the hackathon reflects the company’s commitment to fostering innovation and nurturing the next generation of tech talent.

With a team of engineers and industry experts spanning multiple continents, Cavista Technologies is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge technology solutions that streamline processes and accelerate project delivery.
