The Enugu State Gaming Commission (ESGC), in partnership with Rangers International Football Club, has announced an extension of the submission deadline for expressions of interest in the Rangers Dream Big Raffle Project to December 20, 2024.

This strategic extension responds to growing interest from investors and stakeholders eager to align with this transformative initiative.

“The Rangers Dream Big Raffle Project offers private sector partners a unique opportunity to participate in a pioneering venture that combines sports, gaming, and economic development in a structured and regulated environment”, said Prince Arinze Arum, executive secretary /CEO Enugu state Gaming commission.

A Landmark Opportunity in a New Regulatory Era

According to Arum, the recent Supreme Court ruling affirming state governments’ exclusive authority to regulate gaming activities in Nigeria has created a more predictable and stable investment environment.

For the first time, investors can engage with the gaming sector free from the jurisdictional uncertainties that previously hindered growth.

“Enugu State, known for its progressive gaming policies, is setting the standard for responsible and innovative gaming practices.

“This project reflects the state’s commitment to leveraging its regulatory authority to foster partnerships that drive community development, enhance sports infrastructure, and deliver strong returns on investment”, he said.

Why Invest in the Rangers Dream Big Raffle Project?

Continuing, the Enugu State Gaming Commission’s boss said the initiative is strategically designed to maximize impact and value for all stakeholders.

Key features of the project include:

Leverage a Renowned Brand: Rangers International Football Club boasts a loyal and passionate fan base spanning Nigeria and beyond. The club’s rich legacy and wide appeal provide an unparalleled platform for engagement and revenue generation.

Guaranteed Market Reach: The raffle targets Rangers FC supporters and sports enthusiasts across Enugu State and beyond, ensuring broad-based participation and ticket sales.

Attractive Revenue Sharing Model: The project’s revenue-sharing formula ensures equitable returns for Rangers FC, ESGC, and the selected private sector partner, with clear pathways for sustained profitability.

Regulatory Assurance: ESGC’s robust regulatory framework provides partners with the confidence of operating in a transparent and secure gaming environment aligned with global best practices.

Community Impact: Beyond profit, the project reinforces the socio-economic fabric of Enugu State by supporting sports development, creating jobs, and promoting local enterprise.

The extension of the submission deadline to December 20, 2024, reflects ESGC’s commitment to inclusivity and to ensuring the widest possible participation.

The Rangers Dream Big Raffle Project represents a transformative opportunity to redefine gaming in “Enugu State.

“The overwhelming interest the Commission has received underscores the need to provide additional time for stakeholders to submit proposals that align with our vision” he said.

This extension ensures that no potential partner is left behind in contributing to this groundbreaking initiative.

The Rangers Dream Big Raffle Project offers a unique investment proposition with tangible benefits for private sector partners:

  • Revenue Growth: Partners gain access to a structured ticket distribution and sales model that guarantees predictable cash flow.
  • Brand Affiliation: Investors will align with the iconic Rangers FC brand, leveraging its positive public perception to amplify their corporate visibility and reputation.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Participation connects partners to Enugu State’s forward-thinking governance, fostering trust and long-term growth opportunities in the gaming sector.

Interested parties are encouraged to submit their proposals by December 20, 2024, to secure their place in this transformative venture.

The Rangers Dream Big Raffle Project transcends gaming—it is an ecosystem of innovation, community impact, and sports development.

For high-level decision-makers, corporate investors, and gaming sector leaders, this is an unmissable opportunity to contribute to the future of sports and gaming in Enugu State while achieving strong returns on investment.
