Temitope Daramola

I am a fashion designer with years of experience, having created great outfits for over 100 people in the last 5 years. Putting 2 industries I have a deep passion for into 1.

My aim is to combine fashion and technology to create innovative products and solutions. I want to build a great fashion product in Africa.

In my research,
The African fashion industry is known for its rich cultural heritage, diverse textiles, and vibrant designs. With the integration of technology, African fashion designers and entrepreneurs are creating new opportunities for growth and innovation.

Fashion tech in Africa includes a wide range of products and services such as e-commerce platforms for African fashion, mobile apps for virtual styling and wardrobe management, 3D printing for customized clothing, and wearable technology that incorporates African textiles and designs.

African fashion tech startups are also using AI and machine learning to improve supply chain management, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.

The rise of fashion technology in Africa is also creating new job opportunities for African youth and driving economic growth in the region. It is also contributing to the promotion of sustainable fashion practices and the preservation of African cultural heritage.

Fashion Tech Challenges face in Africa
1. Limit access to funding,
2. Lack of infrastructure
3. Limit technological expertise.
4. Lack of awareness and education about fashion technology in Nigeria
5. So many more challenges remain unlisted.
..

This challenge is raising alarm for Care, as the future of fashion tech in Africa looks promising, and we hope more investors and entrepreneurs recognize this industry.

I will be back with more insight, market value, and case studies to share with you all.

Journey with me on fashion tech in Africa
I have an amazing idea. I would love to pitch with great minds sometimes; however, I would love to team up with people who have the same drive as I do.

If there is any industry in which I would love to work, I will rate Fashion Tech №1.
