Subomi Balogun, Founder of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) Group,

The Founder of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) Group, Subomi Balogun, passed away on Friday morning at age 89.

Balogun, who had celebrated his 89th birthday on Thursday, March 9, reportedly died in a London hospital after a brief illness.

He attended the prestigious Igbobi College before heading to the London School of Economics, where he studied law.
