FirstMonie Merchant Solution

FirstBank, West Africa’s premier financial institution and a trailblazer in financial inclusion, has launched the FirstMonie Merchant Solution, a cutting-edge platform designed to simplify and expand digital payment acceptance for merchants and businesses across Nigeria.

The solution is built to address the growing demand for reliable digital payment systems by offering merchants a seamless onboarding process, automated referrals, and flexible features such as Pay with Transfer and Pay for Purchase. It also comes with instant settlement, concession management with competitive pricing, and automatic terminal registration.

Merchants will benefit from pre-configured POS terminals, real-time monitoring via a network dashboard, and support tools for dispute resolution and complaint management.

These features collectively enhance liquidity, transparency, and operational efficiency while reducing chargebacks.

Speaking on the launch, Chuma Ezirim, Group Executive, E-Business and Retail Products at FirstBank, said:
