MTN Nigeria’s 90-day Mega Billion Promo, the company’s largest customer reward scheme till date, continues to change lives across the country.
Designed to reward customer loyalty, the promo has already disbursed over 290 million naira in cash rewards to thousands of Nigerians.
For one winner, Deborah Obuhoro, the impact was immediate and deeply emotional; she jumped, cried, and expressed disbelief during an at-home video interview.
She joins a growing list of customers across Nigeria who have received major rewards through the Mega Billion Promo, including a jackpot, ₦10 million naira prize, ₦2 million and ₦1 million cash prizes.
“I’m so excited. MTN actually gave me the best gift of my life,” she said. “I just got a pop-up message asking me to dial *900# to opt in. Luckily for me, I received a call from 300 on my birthday, telling me I had won five million naira. I was so happy.”
Visibly overwhelmed, she shared how difficult life had been before the win. “Growing up has been very difficult for me. It’s not been easy, getting jobs, taking care of myself, my siblings, my family. I’ve never even had a million naira in my account. Now I’m five million naira rich. It’s like a dream come true.”
To join the promo, customers simply dial *900# to opt in, and recharge with as low as 100 naira. All calls to winners are made from MTN’s official number 300. 63 winners are selected daily from Monday to Friday.
Daily and weekly draws are held. Daily prizes range from twenty-five thousand naira to five million naira, while Saturdays are even bigger, with 104 winners and a ten million naira jackpot up for grabs.
On Saturdays, other cash prizes include twenty-five thousand naira, fifty thousand naira, seventy-five thousand naira, one hundred thousand naira, five hundred thousand naira, one million naira, and two million naira.
Winners receive their money paid directly into their MoMo wallets. Participants are required to have a MoMo account, which can be opened by dialing *671#.
“Thank you MTN. “This really means a lot to me,” Obuhoro said. “Once you get a call from 300, it’s not a scam. Just pick up the call. You might win something.”
