GIBC and Trade Lenda | Impact Conference 2025

The Global Impact Business Community (GIBC) has announced the official call for applications for its flagship Impact Conference 2025, scheduled to hold from November 28 to 30, 2025, in Lagos, Nigeria.

The GIBC initiative, supported by Trade Lenda, seeks to facilitate access to finance and capacity-building opportunities for over 10,000 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across the country.

Through this programme, GIBC aims to disburse up to ₦15 billion in funding support to help entrepreneurs, especially women and youth, scale their ventures sustainably.

According to Benjamen Oladokun, GIBC lead, the initiative responds to the “alarming underutilization of Nigeria’s entrepreneurial potential.”

He explained that the goal is to “empower small businesses through an ecosystem where entrepreneurs can learn, connect, and access adequate capital to grow and maximize opportunities.”

Similarly, Adeshina Adewumi, CEO of Trade Lenda, described the Impact Conference as “more than an event, it is a movement to unlock Nigeria’s entrepreneurial potential.”

He emphasized that the ₦15 billion fund would enable 10,000 businesses to receive support in various cohorts, contributing to “Africa’s next wave of success stories.”

Key Benefits for Participants

Successful applicants and conference attendees will gain:

  • Access to multiple funding opportunities across diverse sectors.
  • Tailored capacity-building sessions led by seasoned industry experts.
  • Exposure to investors, mentors, and potential partners.
  • Opportunities to pitch their businesses live during the conference.

Eligibility

Applications are open to:

  • MSMEs in retail, agriculture, manufacturing, services, and related sectors.
  • Startups with innovative solutions or scalable ideas.
  • Entrepreneurs with clear business visions and growth potential.

Both registered and unregistered businesses are welcome to apply.

How to Apply

Interested entrepreneurs can apply here before the application deadline of Friday, November 7, 2025.
Applicants are also required to:

  1. Create an account on the Trade Lenda App (available on Google Play, iOS App Store, or via the link here.
  2. Submit their applications and prepare supporting documents for the due diligence stage.

The Impact Conference 2025 will also feature networking sessions, investor linkages, and mentorship opportunities, creating a platform where “innovation meets opportunity and finance meets scalability.”
