Future of HR

HumanManager Limited recently hosted a thought-leadership webinar themed “The Future of HR: From Manual Processes to Workforce Intelligence,” bringing together professionals across technology, FMCG, manufacturing, consulting, and SME sectors to discuss the evolving role of Human Resources in today’s digital economy.

The company is a data-driven HR and payroll solutions provider in Nigeria, and a subsidiary of SystemSpecs Group.

The webinar, held virtually, recently, featured Ibem K. Idika, group head, Human Resources and Administration at SystemSpecs Holdings Limited, as keynote speaker.

During the webinar, moderated by Esther Momah, lead PR and CSR at SystemSpecs, participants explored the evolution of HR from traditional administrative functions to strategic, data-driven workforce intelligence systems capable of supporting smarter business decisions, productivity optimization, and sustainable organizational growth.

Speaking during the session, Ibem Idika noted that organizations must begin to see workforce data as a strategic business asset rather than merely an administrative necessity.

“HR is no longer just about managing people; it is about unlocking intelligence from the workforce,” he said while highlighting the growing importance of predictive analytics, workforce intelligence, digital HR systems, and AI-powered decision-making in modern organizations.

He further emphasized that businesses that leverage workforce intelligence effectively will gain stronger competitive advantage in an increasingly dynamic and technology-driven business environment.

The webinar also examined the major phases in the evolution of HR – from personnel administration and process standardization to strategic HR, digital HR, and workforce intelligence – while highlighting the increasing role of data literacy, digital fluency, and workforce analytics in shaping the future of work.

According to HumanManager, the session forms part of the brand’s broader commitment to supporting organizations with insights, tools, and digital solutions that improve workforce management, payroll administration, employee experience, and operational efficiency.

Speaking on the importance of the initiative, Jerry Adeyeri, brands & marketing lead at HumanManager, noted that the webinar reflects the brand’s commitment to helping organizations navigate the future of work through technology, workforce intelligence, and digital HR transformation.

As businesses continue to navigate digital transformation, experts at the webinar stressed the need for organizations to adopt more intelligent and adaptive HR systems capable of delivering real-time workforce insights, predictive talent strategies, and data-backed decision-making.

HumanManager continues to drive conversations around the future of work, HR technology, workforce intelligence, and payroll automation through industry-focused engagements and digital HR innovation.
