Huawei, a leading multinational technology company, and TD Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa’s biggest tech, solutions, and lifestyle distributor have collaborated to present mouthwatering opportunities and some technology cutting-edge products to small-scale and medium enterprises in Nigeria.

Nigeria has over 37.07 million micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, and they account for more than 84 percent of total jobs in the country.

In her opening remarks, Mrs. Chioma Chimere, Coordinating Managing Director (CMD) TD Africa said both partners are empowering the ecosystem by providing top-notch technology products to SMEs.

Chimera lauded Huawei for being at the forefront of leading technology products and services in various industries.

“Today we are doing something new which others have struggled to do in terms of technological advancement, Huawei and TD are making these products available for the enterprise sector.

“Huawei is coming to where the bulk of the pie lies – to the small and medium businesses. Huawei is saying, you don’t have to be a big enterprise to own these products. It has been brought down to a point that even a sole proprietor can own it, you don’t have to be a multinational company, she said.

According to Chimere, the first quarter of the year has ended, and that gives businesses the timeframe to own and use these technology products for the rest of the year.

Amongst the SME products launched at the TD office, 13 Idowu Martins, Victoria Island, Lagos was the Huawei IdeaHub series products, the next-generation collaboration tool for small and big enterprises.

The HUAWEI IdeaHub provides a suite of core productivity tools that promote digital transformation and help build a fully connected world.

According to Sanusi Waris, Product Manager, Huawei, there has been a sharp drop in the commercial shipment of projectors. The whole idea of IdeaHub is a transformation shift from a traditional office to a collaborative office.

Waris in his power point presentation explained to several TD and Huawei partners who converged at the launch how the needs and the effectiveness of having IdeaHub, a technology product that can add to the bottom line.

He said users can use the whiteboard and projection, adding that the IdeaHub provides the meeting, whiteboard, projection, bulletin board, and application functions.

A set of essential productivity tools are offered by the HUAWEI IdeaHub to support digital transformation and create a fully interconnected world.

The Huawei IdeaHub series is an intelligent endpoint that combines several features, such as built-in HD AppGallery, remote collaboration, interactive whiteboard, a multi-screen collaboration between mobile devices and computers, and FHD video conferencing.

A brand-new productivity tool called IdeaHub was also developed by Huawei to build an all-purpose smart office. Every conference room and open office will have access to digital technology as part of this initiative, which will boost workplace productivity for businesses in need of the most cutting-edge networking equipment.

Aside from the various products for businesses, Abiodun Idowu Head, Enterprise Business Group, TD Africa highlighted the various sales and examination bonuses for Huawei/TD partners.

According to her, there exist various certification examinations for partners and those who partake in such exercises are rewarded as much as $500 and above.

He educated the attendants on the potential opportunities and financial rewards associated with becoming active in closing sales.
