Nigerian serial entrepreneur, Tim Akano, has added another feather in his cap.
This time, the International Inner Wheel Club, during its 38th National Conference & Rally on Saturday, 8th February 2025, in Lagos, honoured Mr. Tim Akano, the CEO of New Horizons, for his significant contributions to humanity through his entrepreneurial endeavours, mentorship programs, and various youth empowerment initiatives in Nigeria and across Africa.
Inner Wheel Club is an international organization with its origin in the UK and has over 100,000 members across more than 100 countries worldwide.
This year’s event was attended by several dignitaries from Nigeria and abroad.
Tim Akano was described as a foremost Pan-African youth mentor who has received close to 250 national, continental, and international awards in recognition of his immense contributions to humanity.
Through the Tim Akano Foundation, his NGO, One Africa Initiatives, and New Horizons, he facilitates the awarding of over 20,000 scholarships annually to youths.
