Step-by-Step Guide to Unbarring Your MTN Line

Step 1: Visit the MTN NIN Linking Portal

• Go to https://ninlinking.mtn.ng to get started.

Step 2: Enter Your Details

• Input your phone number and a valid email address. Make sure you have access to this email, as the OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent there.

Step 3: Verify with OTP

• Check your email for the OTP. Be quick, as the code is valid for only 30 seconds. If you don’t receive it, click on “resend OTP” after 30 seconds.

Step 4: Input Your NIN

• Enter your National Identification Number (NIN). The system will verify if your NIN is already linked to your MTN line.

If your NIN is not linked, you will need to provide additional information to complete the process. This may include:

• Your mother’s maiden name
• The last amount you recharged
• Frequently dialled numbers
