Port Harcourt-based founder Karla Obakpolor has emerged as one of the recipients of AstroSapiens’ StarChain Ventures scholarship award.
The AstroSapiens community announced the successful funding and awarding of four scholarships for Cohort 3 of the renowned StarChain Ventures course, ‘Startup Fundraising Demystified.’
The initiative is a testament to the recipients’ commitment to fostering impactful tech entrepreneurship and supporting outstanding individuals within their vibrant community.
According to the organization, the scholarship awardees not only demonstrated outstanding merit but also aligned with the impact ethos of their community. The four awardees are:
Karla Obakpolor (Nigeria): Founder of CRYPTO SMART, contributing to increased access to web3/blockchain products and capabilities in Africa.
Eve Logunova-Parker (USA): Founder and CEO of Evenness, dedicated to democratizing access to innovative technologies.
Monica Talan (USA/LATAM): Founder of CryptoConexión, championing financial literacy and inclusion for emerging economies.
Aimara Garcia Cabezas (LATAM): Founder of Gnomai Lab, bringing hope and capabilities to underserved communities.
The AstroSapiens community noted that the scholarships were thoughtfully awarded based on a combination of need, merit, and alignment with their community’s impact-driven ethos.
