Samsung Galaxy S25 series is set to launch early next year, but a recent leak, shared by a reliable source, gives a first glimpse at the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra models, revealing their potential design and size differences.
The image, which shows all three devices side by side, gives a clue that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be slightly larger than the S25 Plus, while the standard Galaxy S25 will be noticeably smaller than both.
This sizing is not unexpected, given previous releases in the Galaxy S series. However, what stands out in the latest design is the change to more rounded corners, a feature that has drawn mixed reactions from fans.
Some users are not happy, particularly with the design changes on the Ultra model. One user pointed out the possible lack of an anti-reflective tempered glass option, urging Samsung to provide better screen protection alternatives for future models.
Others complained about the lack of significant camera upgrades, especially the decision not to enhance the 3x telephoto lens, a feature that has remained unchanged in recent iterations.
Design preferences aside, there are hopes that Samsung will introduce improvements in other areas, such as faster data transfer speeds via cable, which some users feel has lagged behind the competition.
Added to this, there are rumours that Samsung may once again rely exclusively on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset for the Ultra model, though this has yet to be confirmed.
The leak also points to slimmer bezels across all three models, aligning with Samsung’s trend of maximizing screen real estate. Though it’s unsure if the leaked devices are working prototypes or dummy units, the design is likely close to what will be revealed at the official launch, expected in January.
While the specifics of the internal hardware are yet to be officially confirmed, rumours suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will continue to feature a powerful camera display, including a 200 MP main sensor, alongside incremental upgrades to other aspects of the phone’s performance.
However, enthusiasts are encouraged not to take these details as the ‘actual thing’ until the official announcement is made.
Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series will undoubtedly draw considerable attention as more details emerge in the coming months.
