Mantrac Nigeria has taken fourteen Nigerian customers to Málaga, Spain, for a hands-on immersion into Caterpillar’s equipment technology as the brand marks its centenary.

The trip formed the closing phase of Mantrac Group’s excavator campaign, which rewarded buyers of selected CAT models across Africa.

The delegation arrived in the Andalusian city for a structured programme that mixed product learning with on-site demonstrations.

Participants began with a reception at the Gran Hotel Miramar before heading out to experience parts of Málaga’s heritage. That calm start contrasted with what awaited them at the Caterpillar Málaga Machine Learning and Demonstration Centre, where the technical sessions began.

Inside the facility, customers received safety instructions and a briefing on Caterpillar’s century-long engineering path. From there, the day moved quickly. Engineers broke down excavator systems, earthmoving workflows and the company’s VisionLink monitoring technology.

Paving solutions were also on the table, and attendees spent time around demonstration units, examining components with specialists from both Mantrac and Caterpillar.

The most interesting moment came later during the live CAT Big Push Show. Machines were pushed to work in a controlled demonstration zone, forcing every attendee to pay attention. It was loud, intense and, for many, the clearest display of what the equipment can endure and deliver.

Mantrac Nigeria’s Managing Director, Emad Adeeb, said the experience created real value for customers:

“This trip offered our customers an excellent opportunity to see Caterpillar innovation firsthand and to connect with the experts behind the machines they rely on. It strengthened the relationship we have with our customers and reinforced our commitment to providing the right solutions and support to help them achieve sustainable growth.”

This final stop in Spain capped the Mantrac Group effort that recognised sixty-nine qualified customers across Africa.

For Mantrac, the CAT Excavator Winners’ visit, both a celebration and reinforcement of the company’s long-term drive to build stronger technical confidence among operators, will enhance customers’ trust that depends on Caterpillar machinery every day.
