Microsoft has recently expanded the reach of its AI-powered assistant, Copilot, by launching a dedicated app for Android devices.
This new Microsoft Copilot application is now available for free on the Google Play Store, offering users access to advanced features and capabilities. While an official confirmation regarding the iOS app is still pending, it is expected to become available in the coming weeks.
According to the information provided on the Google Play Store listing, the Copilot app is powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4 and DALL-E technologies. Bing is set to support the latest DALL-E 3 model, providing personalised answers based on search history, introducing a new AI-powered shopping experience, and updating Bing Chat Enterprise for enhanced mobility and visual appeal.

Copilot, utilising the Microsoft Prometheus model built on top of OpenAI’s GPT-4, has a conversational interface style similar to ChatGPT. It possesses the ability to cite sources, create poems and songs, generate images through Image Creator, and communicate in multiple languages and dialects.
At the Build 2023 conference, Microsoft unveiled plans to integrate Copilot directly into Windows 11 through the taskbar.
