Developed to simplify growth and connection for businesses, Meetings+ aims to bolster collaboration and aggravate success as digitalization keeps expanding.

Wondering the difference between the new app and Zoom+? The Meetings+ app is a UCC application integrated with Zoom. This integration enables users to log in to Meetings+ using existing Zoom credentials.

Hassan Jaber, Chief Operating Officer (COO) at MTN Nigeria, said Meetings+ protrudes MTN’s vision to meeting the evolving needs of customers. He further stressed the impact of collaboration in driving innovation.

“The launch of Meetings+, a collaboration born from the synergy of industry leaders. We are proud to embark on this journey alongside our partners, Zoom and SpeechLogix. At MTN Nigeria, we are committed to driving innovation and empowering businesses with cutting-edge solutions.

“As we strive to redefine the future of communication, together we aim to revolutionalize the way businesses connect, collaborate and thrive.”

Omowunmi Olatunbosun, Head of SME Segment at MTN Nigeria’s Enterprise Business unit, pointed to Meetings+ as the ultimate audio and video conferencing tool designed specifically for small and medium businesses (SMBs). Q&A Session

Charles Okonkwo, General Manager of Enterprise Marketing at MTN Nigeria, spoke about the challenges faced by small and medium businesses (SMBs) regarding communication and collaboration.

He highlighted how the new app can address these challenges by providing them with the necessary tools to conduct professional meetings and close deals.

Traditionally, SMEs often have limited budgets and may resort to free meeting options that lack features and professionalism. Meetings+ offers daily, weekly, and monthly subscription plans that are affordable and provide the necessary features for effective communication.

Again, the app comes with collaboration tools such as whiteboards and document sharing, allowing SMEs to work together seamlessly on projects, even when located remotely. It can be beneficial for various business functions, including customer service, education — facilitating online classes, and internal team collaboration.

On security, Haitham El-Hanafi said Meetings+ utilizes a multi-layered security approach. User information is encrypted and remains within MTN’s secure environment. Additionally, enterprise-grade security measures are employed to protect against unauthorized access.

Omowunmi Olatunbosun, added that MTN takes security very seriously and has implemented solid security measures to ensure that user data is protected even when using cloud-based infrastructure.
