NIN enrolment centre

The National Identity Management Agency (NIMC) posted today on its verified X handle that Engr. Abisoye Odusote-Coker, DG/CEO, has approved the distribution of additional enrolment systems to all the (sic: 36) States.

Although, NIMC failed to mention the number and specifications of these systems been distributed to States, it said the measure forms part of steps to ease NIN enrolment challenges and increase operational capacity.

According to NIMC statistics, the number of NIN enrolments as at December 2023 stood at 104.16 million.

“The provision of additional enrolment devices underscores the commitment of the DG/CEO to streamline operations and enhance overall effectiveness.

“The systems have since been installed and in use across all the states and have not only resulted in the reduction of time spent by applicants but has also increased the number of applicants attended to daily.
