The Federal Government has launched Rev360, a new digital tax administration platform designed to simplify tax filing, improve compliance, and support Nigeria’s transition to a technology-driven revenue system.
Unveiled on June 10, 2026, by the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), the Rev360 is part of the government’s effort to modernise tax administration, encourage voluntary compliance, and improve access to tax services for individuals and businesses across the country.
Zacch Adedeji, chairman of the NRS, described Rev360 as a key pillar of the agency’s Tax Administration 3.0 agenda, which seeks to modernise tax operations through data-driven and taxpayer-focused digital solutions.
According to Adedeji, the platform is expected to improve service delivery, strengthen compliance management, increase transparency, and make it easier for taxpayers to interact with the revenue authority.
“Rev360 represents a major milestone in our journey towards building a modern, efficient and responsive tax administration system that aligns with global best practices and the evolving needs of businesses and citizens,” he said.
The agency said the platform will accelerate the digitisation of Nigeria’s tax ecosystem by replacing manual processes with an integrated end-to-end framework that supports seamless taxpayer interactions.
Also speaking at the event, Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele, said the initiative would play an important role in expanding the country’s revenue base and improving tax compliance.
Represented by Mohammed Danjuma, permanent secretary of the Federal Ministry of Finance, Oyedele said digital tax infrastructure has become a critical component of modern economies, helping to improve transparency, predictability and the ease of doing business.
He added that Rev360 would help strengthen investor confidence, improve business operations and support the government’s wider economic reform agenda.
For the NRS, the platform goes beyond a technology upgrade. Ini Akpan, executive director of Technology at the agency, said Rev360 provides the digital infrastructure needed to deliver tax services at scale while improving the taxpayer experience.
“The platform makes tax payments easier, faster and more seamless. By reducing friction in the compliance process, we expect to see higher levels of voluntary tax compliance across the country,” Akpan said.
Rev360 offers a range of digital services, including taxpayer registration, tax filing and payment, as well as objection and appeal management.
The agency said the platform was designed to provide a user-friendly experience while improving efficiency and transparency across the tax value chain.
According to the NRS, more than 600,000 taxpayers have already been onboarded onto the platform since its pilot rollout in April 2026.
The launch comes as Nigeria works toward modernising public sector service delivery through digital technologies. It also builds on the implementation of new tax laws introduced earlier this year to strengthen revenue mobilisation and create a more efficient tax collection system.
The agency said Rev360 could help advance Nigeria’s digital economy ambitions by improving government revenue generation while reducing compliance burdens for businesses and individual taxpayers.
