Property technology is reshaping how real estate is managed and experienced across the continent. From digitizing listings to automating lease agreements, PropTech has become essential to solving long-standing issues in the property industry.
In line with this shift, Ourspace Global Ltd, a Lagos-based PropTech firm, has officially launched its rebranded digital platform, OurSpace, an all-in-one property management tool designed to modernize real estate transactions through smart technology.
The platform has been reimagined and re-engineered to solve critical inefficiencies faced by landlords, tenants, and property managers alike. Manual paperwork, inconsistent communication, and delays in processing leases or maintenance requests have remained common frustrations. OurSpace introduces a cleaner, faster, and smarter alternative by centralizing these processes within a user-friendly digital environment.
“The real estate sector in Africa has been due for a technology upgrade, and OurSpace is our response to that need,” said Yusuf Adeleke, Chief Executive Officer of Ourspace Global Ltd. “We’ve created a system that streamlines communication, simplifies transactions, and puts actionable data at the fingertips of landlords and tenants.”
The launch of Ourspace reflects months of product design, engineering, and field testing, led by a team of digital product experts and real estate professionals. From AI-powered tenant-property matching to digital lease generation, every feature was developed with practicality and user experience in mind.
Tolulope Fayemi, Product Manager at Ourspace Global Ltd, emphasized the platform’s focus on functionality and long-term value. “OurSpace was built to solve real problems, not just look good on paper. We paid attention to the frustrations people face in everyday property management and responded with tools that make things easier, faster, and more transparent,” he said.
Built with scalability in mind, OurSpace already supports property owners and tenants across multiple cities in Nigeria. Since its pilot launch, over 1,200 leases have been processed on the platform, with users reporting increased efficiency and better visibility into their property portfolios.
“We’re proud of what the team has achieved, and even more excited about what’s next,” Adeleke added. “Ourspace isn’t just a product launch—it’s a marker of where PropTech in Africa is heading. Our ambition is to become the go-to solution for property stakeholders across the continent.”
With regional expansion plans already underway, Ourspace Global Ltd expects to extend the reach of the platform to new markets within West and East Africa by mid-2025.
Fayemi noted, “We’re constantly improving the platform based on user feedback. Whether it’s integrating digital payments or enhancing security protocols, we want to make sure Ourspace continues to deliver value as the property landscape evolves.”
