Payara Services Cloud | cloud infrastructure spending | Cloud cost optimisation

Payara Cloud

Payara Services, a leading provider of enterprise Java solutions, is set to facilitate cloud application deployments through the introduction of a new Pay As You Go pricing model for Payara Cloud PaaS.

This new offering delivers a cost-effective and flexible solution for Jakarta EE and MicroProfile applications that do not require continuous runtime.

While the cloud is becoming a captivating choice for enterprise application workloads, capital and operational expenses, such as infrastructure costs, can quickly escalate, hindering businesses from adopting cloud solutions.

The latest Pay As You Go end-of-month billing for Payara Cloud is designed to help companies overcome these challenges and successfully move to the cloud while optimizing their cloud expenses. This option complements the existing tiered options.

The transparent Pay As You Go pricing model introduces a flexible billing structure that is ideal for small applications, development and testing environments as well as any team looking for a stepwise cloud adoption.

Rather than having to plan in advance and procure resources ahead of time, customers will only pay for what they actually use. For example, customers can scale their applications to up to 2 virtual CPU (vCPU) cores, with usage billed at $0.005 per vCPU minute.

This new billing opportunity further attests to Payara Services’ commitment to simplify cloud adoption through one-click deployment solution Payara Cloud.

This is a fully managed, cloud-native application runtime designed to simplify the deployment and management of Jakarta EE and MicroProfile applications in the cloud. It’s a platform that automates the deployment pipeline and handles all server-related complexities, empowering developers to deploy and run their applications with one click, by simply dropping their WAR files into Payara Cloud.

As a result, users can focus on coding without having to invest time and resources for infrastructure management. In effect, the platform handles all aspects of deployment, scaling and maintenance, optimizing performance and reliability.

“Payara Services is committed to delivering value-adding, meaningful solutions to enterprise application developers. Our newest Pay As You Go subscription for Payara Cloud is well-aligned with this goal and puts our users in a prime position to champion cloud adoptions,” says Louise Castens, senior product manager at Payara Services.
