REGSITER – Learn How to Become .NG Domains Reseller

  • NiRA unveils ‘Reseller Entrepreneurship Programme’ 2023 edition

Nigeria recorded its highest active domain names in a single month in January 2023. The addition of 7,082 new domain names to the .ng registered in the month of January, took the country’s active domain numbers to 184,425.

And to populate the .NG domain names, Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NiRA), the registry for the .ng country code top-level domain (ccTLD) in Nigeria, has launched its ‘Reseller Entrepreneurship Programme’ 2023 edition aimed at teaching businesses how to start their DNS business.

NiRA, as the body responsible for the management and administration of .ng domain names, said the Reseller Entrepreneurship Programme offers a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to enter the DNS industry and start their own business with minimal investment and no technical expertise.

“As a reseller, you’ll have access to a wide range of DNS services and tools, enabling you to offer a comprehensive suite of solutions to your customers. With the increasing demand for DNS services, the Reseller Entrepreneurship Program provides a profitable and scalable business model for aspiring entrepreneurs.

“Our programme offers a turnkey solution for entrepreneurs who want to enter the DNS industry and start selling DNS services to their customers.

“As a reseller, you’ll have access to a comprehensive knowledge of DNS services, including domain registration, DNS hosting, and DNSSEC. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn how to brand and set your own pricing, giving you full control over your business. Our programme provides all the tools and resources you need to succeed, including marketing materials, sales support, and technical assistance”.
