SAHCO Reports ₦12bn Pre-Tax Profit in 2025, Targets UAE Expansion

Skyway Aviation Handling Company PLC has announced a strong financial performance for the year ended December 31, 2025, reporting a revenue of N44.459,365  billion.

The figures reflect significant SAHCO growth driven by increased passenger and cargo handling activities, improved operational efficiency, and continued investments in modern Ground Support Equipment (GSE), workforce development, and strategic infrastructure expansion at the 16th edition of the company’s Annual General Meeting.

In terms of profitability, SAHCO reported a Profit Before Tax (PBT) of approximately ₦12.007 billion, compared to ₦6.486 billion achieved in 2024, demonstrating strong year-on-year growth. Profit After Tax (PAT) also stood at approximately ₦9.742 billion for the 2025 financial year.

These results underscore the Company’s resilience, prudent financial management, and unwavering commitment to delivering sustainable value to shareholders while maintaining its position as a leading provider of aviation ground handling services in Nigeria.

Furthermore in 2025, the company recorded a strong financial performance, with revenue rising by 54% to approximately forty-four billion, Four Hundred and Fifty-nine naira (₦44.459,365 billion), compared to twenty-eight billion, nine hundred and forty-one naira, two hundred and seventy Naira (₦28.941,270 billion) in 2024.

Profit Before Tax stood at approximately twelve billion, two hundred and sixty-four naira (₦12.264 billion), while Profit After Tax amounted to about nine billion, seven hundred and forty-one thousand, six hundred and fifty naira (₦9,741,650 billion).

Earnings Per Share increased to Seven Naira and Twenty kobo (₦7.20), up from Three Naira and Fifty-Seven kobo (₦3.57) in the previous year, reflecting significant year-on-year growth and improved shareholder value.Top of Form

SAHCO’s Growth Plan

Revenue growth was supported by strong performance across SAHCO’s core operations, which increased across its airport network nationwide and rising demand for aviation ground handling services.

Speaking at the Annual General Meeting, Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, SAHCO chairman, attributed the performance to the resilience of the Company’s business model, the dedication of its workforce, and its sustained focus on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and strategic expansion.

“The 2025 financial performance reflects the resilience of our business model, the commitment of our workforce, and our unwavering focus on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and strategic expansion,” he said.

He added that the results demonstrate SAHCO’s ability to navigate a challenging operating environment while maintaining growth and delivering value to shareholders.

Shareholders’ equity also grew strongly to N62.21 billion, reflecting solid financial positioning and long-term value creation capacity.

Total assets rose significantly to N82.69 billion, supported by investments in property, plant, and equipment, as well as improved liquidity and overall balance sheet strength.

In addition, Dr. Afolabi, disclosed that SAHCO has developed strategic plans to expand its operations into the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and other African markets as part of its long-term growth strategy.

He noted that the initiative is aimed at strengthening the Company’s regional and international presence, diversifying revenue streams, leveraging opportunities within the growing aviation industry, and positioning SAHCO as a leading aviation ground handling and logistics service provider across Africa and beyond, while continuing to deliver sustainable value to shareholders.

Notably, SAHCO remains the only Aviation Ground Handling provider with operational presence across all commercial airports in Nigeria, underscoring its nationwide footprint and strategic importance within the aviation industry.

SAHCO is involved in Passenger Handling Services, Baggage and Ramp Handling Services, Cargo Handling Services, Aviation Security Services, Skyway Premium Lounge Services, Crew Administration and other aviation related services.
