Smart Treasure (ST) has been commended for their investment in charity works and keen interest in poverty reduction in Nigeria.

Johnbull Gbejegbe, the chairman, Nigerian Union of Teachers, Udu Local Government Area, Delta State, commended them after a delegation from ST Team, led by Trust Otorudo, the regional head for Lagos, visited primary and secondary schools in Udu locality, donating books and other learning materials.

The team also pledged to cover examination fees and establish a scheme for outstanding students, aligning with their long-term goal of developing local education. This gesture is part of ST Team’s mission to empower Nigerian society.

Comrade Gbejegbe expressed gratitude on behalf of Delta State and Udu LGA, urging the team to continue their good work.

He praised their awards, financial donations, and scholarships, saying,

“I want to appreciate the ST Team for showing love to the school in Udu community. I stand to be corrected: We have never seen this kind of charitable activities in large scale in our history as teachers in Udu, I pray it continues in this spirit.”

ST Team is an digital analysis team providing an enabling environment for individuals to achieve financial freedom through artificial intelligence-driven methods.

The platform has embarked on various charity works, including school support, scholarships, and grants.

Earlier, Mr. Otorudo emphasized the importance of hard work and dedication to students of Oto-Udu Secondary School.

He encouraged them to take their studies seriously and also kill the mentality of: “school is scam“.

According to him, “I’m honoured to be speaking with you all today. As the Regional Head of Lagos, I’ve seen firsthand the importance of hard work and dedication.

“Avoid sharp practices and embrace hard work, focusing on putting in the effort required to achieve your goals, it will give you a competitive edge in securing a good job later in future”.

The Smart Treasures Team also met with the legislator representing the people of Udu Local Government in the Delta State House of Assembly, Collins Egbetamah, and briefed him about the ST Project as well as the charitable activities we have carried out in his Constituency. The Legislator has pledged his full support for the Smart Treasures Project.

Ehirim Justice Chuekwuebuka, deputy head of the Lagos Region, ST Team, noted that giving back to society is integral to the team’s vision.

“At ST Team vision is people centered, its all about the people- and with a target to reduce poverty in Africa atleast by 30% by the year 2027, giving back through charity activities will continue to be part of us.

“The project is important because it helps to bridge the gap between the haves and the have not by some degree,” he affirmed.
