Stanbic IBTC Strengthens Board with Appointment of Mrs. Maryam Aliko Mohammed

Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc announced the appointment of Mrs Maryam Aliko Mohammed as an Independent Non-Executive Director effective December 17, 2024.

The appointment, which follows the receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals, reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening its board with seasoned professionals.

Mrs Mohammed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology from the University of Wales and a Master of Business Administration from Cardiff Business School, Cardiff, Wales.

She is also the Chief Operating Officer at Modalali, a people and organization development company that provides human capital services, coaching, facilitation, training, and development for individuals and organizations.

An accomplished professional with over seventeen (17) years in Senior Management positions and leadership of over two hundred (200) employees, Mrs Mohammed’s wealth of human resource experience in both private and public sectors, manufacturing, education, services, oil and gas make for empathetic understanding of the challenges of managing diverse groups.

Mrs Mohammed is a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council and the Chartered Institute of Coaching and Mentoring in Nigeria. She is also an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Board of Nestle Nigeria PLC.

The Board welcome Mrs. Maryam Aliko Mohammed as a member of the Company’s Board, and she will undoubtedly benefit immensely from her wealth of experience.
