Sterling Bank Plc has signed a three-year agreement with organizers of the Nigerian Healthcare Excellence Award (NHEA) to partner and become title sponsors of some of their Special Recognition awards.

Mr. Obinna Ukachukwu, Sterling Bank’s Divisional Head for Business Growth and Transaction Banking, said the bank recognizes the role NHEA has played in the Nigerian health sector in the past eight years by rewarding excellence and promoting positive outcomes in the sector.

Sterling Bank, as a leading player in the financing of the Nigerian health sector, decided to come on board to further support excellence and growth of the sector.

Vivian Alkali, the NHEA Executive Secretary, expressed the appreciation of the award organizers, “NHEA 2021 was a great success! Attendance and participation by the various stakeholders continue to increase. We are confident that with Sterling Bank’s partnership and support, NHEA 2022 and subsequent editions will be a greater success”.

The NHEA is an annual event where individuals and organizations are recognized and celebrated for their exceptional contributions to the healthcare sector. This initiative, through its eminent team’s research and innovation, has continued to encourage improvements and focus on the quality and standard of service provided by various stakeholders in the industry.

The awards will come up on June 24th, 2022, at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

NHEA is an initiative of Global Health Projects & Resources in collaboration with Anadach Group.

The awards ceremony is an annual event aimed at celebrating individuals and organizations that have contributed to the development of the healthcare sector through innovative, efficient, and qualitative healthcare delivery services that have significantly impacted the health and wellbeing of Nigerian citizens at home and abroad.
