In a bold move to simplify trade logistics and financial transactions for Nigerian businesses, Suitroh Nigeria Limited, a fintech-driven logistics and marketing company, has officially launched X-Inventory.

This refers to inventory management software designed to revolutionise how businesses in the pharmaceutical and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors operate.

Positioned as more than just a software product, X-Inventory is a business-to-business (B2B) trade platform that offers real-time monitoring and control of sales activities, from product purchase to order delivery, with a built-in escrow system to guarantee transaction security for all parties.

During the launch, Mr. Ridwan Oderinu, chief executive officer of Suitroh Nigeria Limited, explained the platform’s purpose: “X-Inventory is designed to tackle the root causes of supply chain issues,” Oderinu said.

“It connects key players in the trade ecosystem, banks, manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers, and ensures that payments and product access are streamlined for all parties.”

Though still in its onboarding phase, the platform has already begun engaging Nigerian banks and manufacturers. Suitroh’s Managing Director noted that product accessibility for downstream users, such as distributors and retailers, is currently under development.

“Banks are doing a fantastic job in linking manufacturers to the ecosystem. The next step is to ensure accessibility of products to all stakeholders,” he added.

Creating a Connected Ecosystem of Trust

At the unveiling, Ogochukwu Oghonu, Chief Technical Officer of Suitroh, emphasized that X-Inventory isn’t just about software, it’s about building an ecosystem that connects producers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers in a seamless digital supply chain.

“With our off-take agreement model, producers don’t have to worry about where their products will go,” said Oghonu. “Once you focus on maximizing your production, we ensure that verified distributors in the ecosystem are ready to take your goods and deliver them to the final consumers.”

This model ensures a ready market for manufacturers, improves product visibility, and accelerates the speed at which goods move across the value chain, all while protecting payments through a secure escrow service.

Financial Access, Data, and Business Support in One Platform

Beyond inventory management and logistics coordination, X-Inventory offers a suite of financial and operational services:

  • Data warehouse & reporting tools: Businesses can track order history, logistics activities, transaction flows, and overall supply chain performance, all from one dashboard.
  • Banking on the go: Users can open business accounts directly from the platform, no physical bank visit required.
  • Access to credit: Through partnerships with financial institutions, Suitroh enables loan access based on a company’s verified transactions and performance metrics on the platform.
  • Business registration support: New businesses can also register with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) via the Suitroh platform, making it a one-stop shop for business formalisation.

A Future Built on Smart Business Infrastructure

With the launch of X-Inventory, Suitroh is helping businesses unlock efficiency, transparency, and scalability, key ingredients in navigating Nigeria’s fast-evolving commercial landscape.

By integrating logistics, finance, and regulatory processes into a single digital ecosystem, the company hopes to empower SMEs and mid-size players to grow sustainably, build trust, and ultimately deliver value to the last-mile consumer.
