Egyptian AI recruitment startup, Talents Arena, has announced a $750,000 pre-seed funding from UI Investments, alongside several prominent Saudi and regional angel investors. This round of funding comes as the business is quickly emerging as a leader in the AI recruitment sector and is essential in closing the unemployment gap in the Middle East and Africa.
Talents Arena is a portfolio firm of Flat6Labs in addition to being a former participant in the famed Plug and Play startup accelerator program. Investors’ strong belief in the sizeable market opportunity in the Middle East is demonstrated by the company’s success in obtaining this pre-seed funding.

She has a track record of successfully managing technology teams and adding to numerous successful projects. Aya Elgebeely, Founder and CEO of Talents Arena said: “Our talent mining engine leverages advanced algorithms and machine learning models that draw upon hundreds of thousands of human decisions to find hidden gems in the talent market and match them with suitable vacancies. This, in return, automates and streamlines the hiring process for both employers and job seekers.”
With a much shorter time to hire, better job matching, and the ability to track and improve their hiring process while meeting hiring KPIs, Talents Arena’s AI engine seeks to upend conventional hiring procedures. The firm is positioned to take the lead in providing firms in the Middle Eastern market and beyond with the best recruitment solution by bringing technological progress to the field of hiring.
Elgebeely added that in addition to expanding the startup’s presence in the Saudi market, which now makes up 25% of its clientele, the financial milestone allows it to speed up the development of its AI hiring engine.
“We are excited to bring our cutting-edge technology to businesses across industries in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, helping hiring managers and recruiters find talents faster with higher accuracy and at a better economical value.”
