Surprise Visits from Top Executives

Ugonwa Nwoye

Customers were stunned when Ugonwa Nwoye and Esther Akinnukawe, the Chief Human Resources Officer, MTN Nigeria, dropped in unannounced at the Y’ello City Service Centre.

The room lit up with excitement as customers got the rare chance to engage with these key figures.

To make the day even more thrilling, the two executives hosted a raffle draw, giving customers the chance to win prizes ranging from new smartphones to MTN-branded gift packs, power banks, and more. The smiles on their faces said it all – pure joy and appreciation for the unexpected surprises.

More Surprises at the Ikoyi Switch Service Centre

MTN Customer Service Week 2024

The excitement continued when Egerton Idehen, general manager of Customer Operations, and Oladipo Jolaosho, General Manager of Business Development, made their way to the Ikoyi Switch Service Centre.

Customers equally got the chance to hang out with MTN’s leadership team. Idehen expressed his appreciation, stating, “There is no MTN without you, our customers. This week is all about celebrating you.”

Jolaosho chimed in,

“Your loyalty keeps us going, and we are here to ensure you continue to receive the best.”

Much like the Y’ello City visit, the Ikoyi Switch Service Centre event featured a raffle draw, where lucky customers walked away with mouthwatering prizes. It was all about making the customers feel special and appreciated.

MTN Customer Service Week 2024

Beyond the surprises and the gifting, customers participated in a photo competition where they shared their best moments with MTN. The Customer Service team was not left out of the celebration as they were recognised and celebrated for their hard work and commitment to making customers’ lives brighter. We couldn’t help but notice the bond between the company and its customers being displayed throughout the week.

MTN Customer Service Week 2024

With the “Above & Beyond” theme, MTN truly went all out to make Customer Service Week memorable. From the well-planned surprises to the heartwarming messages, the company showed that its customers are truly at the heart of all its operations.
