Meta has restored WhatsApp services after almost 2 hours of downtime
The outage began at around 8 a.m. Nigerian time meant that users were unable to post new messages on WhatsApp or get them from anyone else.
TechEconomy reported earlier that the outage had prevented some users from sending messages to groups, while personal messages display only one tick, an indication that they are sent but not delivered.
