Vesti Brothers - Nigeria | Kenya

Co-founders of Vesti: Olusola Amusan and Abimbola Amusan

Vesti, one of the top startups Techeconomy set out to watch in 2025, is already breaking new grounds.

The migration fintech company has now expanded its operations to Kenya. It will unleash its solutions, simplifying the complex processes of migration and cross-border financial services for Kenyans.

In 2024, Vesti celebrated the opening of its state-of-the-art software engineering office in Lagos; a ₦1 billion investment in Nigeria’s traveltech sector.

Co-founded by two brothers: Olusola Amusan and Abimbola Amusan, Vesti’s platform provides comprehensive legal and financial services for immigrants, including AI-powered support, remittances, and foreign exchange.

Following successful expansions to Ghana, Zambia, the UK and Kenya, Vesti also plans to enter Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan in 2025.

With cash-positive operations in H1 2024, Vesti is targeting a Series A funding round to further scale its global footprint. The company’s mission is to empower one billion immigrants worldwide.

Speaking on the Kenya expansion and other African countries including the talent acquisition push, Olusola Amusan told Techeconomy they are vigorously pursuing the vision of building robust ecosystem that fosters cross-border collaboration and talent exchange across the continent.

In his words,

“Vesti Kenya is the new kid on the block and cements our Africa Expansion strategy as we aim to serve 1 million more customers in 2025.

“As we expand across Africa, we are actively seeking talent that can contribute to our growth and innovation. Kenya, for instance, presents significant opportunities—not just for business expansion but also for tapping into a rich pool of talent. It’s about building a robust ecosystem that fosters cross-border collaboration and talent exchange, ensuring sustainable growth across the continent.”
