Mutale Nalumango, vice president of Zambia, will visit Lagos as a special guest of honour at the 2025 Access Bank International Women’s Day (IWD) Conference.
In a statement issued by Njenje Chizu, Press Aide to the Vice President, it was confirmed that Nalumango will deliver a goodwill message at the prestigious event, which is scheduled to take place on Friday, March 28, 2025.
Themed “Accelerate Action, Aspiring Generations,” the conference will bring together thought leaders, changemakers, entrepreneurs, and professionals from both the private and public sectors. The event aims to drive innovative conversations and strategies to ensure lasting change and accelerate progress for future generations.
Beyond her participation in the conference, Vice President Nalumango will engage in a series of bilateral meetings with key stakeholders to strengthen Zambia-Nigeria relations and explore opportunities for collaboration. Her visit will support Africa’s development while strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between the two nations.
Meanwhile Dahlia Khalifa, IFC’s Regional Director for Central Africa and Anglophone West Africa, will deliver the keynote.
