Phantom V Fold 2, Phantom V Flip 2, Camon 30S Pro and Spark 30 series are among the products launched at TECNO AI and Ecosystem event with focus on “Innovate for the Future”, Techeconomy can report.
Other TECNO Ecosystem & AIOT products unveiled at the star-studded events include TECNO MEGABOOK K16S (Laptop), Robot Dog named TECNO Dynamic 1; Smart Watches, and gaming consoles.
Meanwhile, the sages behind TECNO’s innovation believe that individuals and businesses in Africa should embrace Artificial Intelligence (AI), innovation and other forms of tech advancements as key ingredients in enhancing productivity, and driving business success.
Leading the charge, over the weekend in Lagos, at the launch of the company’s new ecosystem products, Jack Chong, the Brand Manager, TECNO, stated that individuals and businesses need new technologies for them to remain globally competitive.
He explained that the decision to come up with the latest mobile devices: Phantom V Fold 2, Phantom V Flip 2, Camon 30S Pro and Spark 30 series, was to help businesses, and individuals, thrive.
Chong expressed the belief that the new AI-powered devices would enable offices, content creators, graphic designers, photographers, and artists, enhance their productivity, and boost their skills.
He argued that one of TECNO’s cardinal objectives for doing business in Nigeria is to enhance the nation’s business environment and launch Nigeria into a future of AI-integrated economy.
Besides representing its push to maintain its market dominance, Chong added that the expansive product launch also exemplifies the company’s commitment to stimulating technological and economic growth across Africa.
According to him, since making its entry into the nation’s market, the company has been able to empower Nigerians, create jobs and boost the local tech ecosystems, adding that over 200,000 retailers are presently in its net, as trade partners, a development, he added, are not without its trickle-down effects on the nation’s economy.
“We want to empower Nigerians to live a better life. And our offerings and activities are always tailored towards achieving this goal,” Chong stated.
Attributing the inroads the company had made in the nation’s market, since its debut, few years ago, Vincent Okonkwo, the retail manager, TECNO, also assured of the company’s commitment to ensuring an interconnected, tech-advanced Africa.

Phantom V Fold 2, Phantom V Flip 2
Both Phantom V Fold2 and Phantom V Flip2 phones come with the maker’s own AI Suite, and they are the first devices to have the features straight out of the box.
The Fold2 evolves from its predecessor while keeping some key specs, like the Dimensity 9000+ chip, the 7.85″ inner screen and the 6.42″ cover display.
The big change is the body, which is now under 6.1 mm thin when unfolded and under 12 mm when folded.
It also lost a lot of weight – it is now 249 grams, down from nearly 300 gr, despite the increased battery size. It comes pre-loaded with TECNO AI.
The Phantom V Fold2 has an Ella AI assistant, powered by Google Gemini. The full AI set of features includes Smart Q&A (basically a chatbot for real-time answers), AI Summary to use in PDFs and webpages, AI Translation with live translation during calls, and AI Writing for text summary, creative writing, proofreading and rewriting capabilities.
The new TECNO Flip phone has a big cover screen with a resolution of 1,056 x 1,056 instead of the small circle first seen in the Phantom V Flip.
Read more about the phone with 3.64″ square panel that uses most of the cover and wraps around the cameras, similar to what Motorola did with the Razr and Xiaomi followed on the Mix Flip.
The inner panel is 6.9″ LTPO AMOLED with Full HD+ resolution. It comes with infused TECNO AI – no need to download third party app – although it is powered by Gemini.

Camon 30S Pro
