Facebook delivered a culturally relevant experience at the recently concluded AprokoNation Fiesta 2025, engaging thousands of attendees through immersive activities and creator-driven interactions that showcased community, creativity and connection.

The activation spotlighted how young adults in Nigeria use Facebook to find out more about the world around them, explore their interests, and navigate through different life stages.

It also showcased Facebook as a platform where creators can meaningfully connect and go deeper with their audience

“Facebook is a leading place for conversations about cultural moments around the world and more young adults in Nigeria are discovering that it is a useful place to spend their time,” said Oluwasola Obagbemi, head of Communications, Sub-Saharan Africa at Meta. “Events like the AprokoNation Fiesta offer a powerful opportunity to create spaces where young adults can get together with friends and make new connections around health, wellness and fitness. We remain committed to adding products and features that empower people to express themselves, build meaningful connections and discover new opportunities.”

With the Facebook Wellness Booth, hosted by Eni Adeoluwa, it featured interactive creator moments and engaging social activities.

Attendees enjoyed the Reels Booth, where they captured short-form videos with the Facebook-themed games adding more excitement to the experience.

Speaking about the event, Eni Adeoluwa said,

“Hosting the Facebook wellness booth at AprokoNation Fiesta was truly exciting. Facebook has helped me build meaningful connections with my audience. It was great engaging with young adults and creators learning how they use Facebook to discover new interests and deepen their connections. It’s a platform where anyone can connect with the world beyond their close friends.”

The Y2K-themed activation is a reminder of how innovation and nostalgia can come together to inspire fresh perspectives and community participation.

The Facebook wellness booth served as a vibrant space for content creators such as Emanuella Samuel, Gina Ehikodi, Dr. Chinonso Egemba (Aproko Doctor), Elozonam to go deeper and interact with their fans and other fiesta attendees while growing their presence on Facebook.

AprokoNation Fiesta is an annual trendy wellness event for young adults. This fun-filled, health-powered festival taps into Nigeria’s rising wellness scene, emphasising the importance of healthy living and learning simple, enjoyable ways to prioritise our well-being.

The event brought people together to bond over lively games and feel-good music while building community and sparking new friendships.
