The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has approved the promotion of 523 of its staff members across various cadres as part of the statutory performance reward system under the 2025 promotion cycle.

The exercise, announced by Engr. (Dr.) Abisoye Coker-Odusote, the Commission’s director-general and chief executive officer, aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.

According to an official statement signed by Dr. Kayode Adegoke, NIMC’s head of Corporate Communications, the promotions reflect eligibility under the Public Service Rules and recognise staff who met performance prerequisites during the cycle.

Breakdown of 2025 Promotions at NIMC

The commission disclosed the following cadre advancements:

Zero Tolerance for Corruption

Reaffirming the commission’s commitment to integrity and professionalism, the NIMC DG reiterated a zero-tolerance stance on extortion and called on staff to uphold ethical standards in service delivery.
