Lanre Adelanwa Basamta, Group Head, Mobile Financial Services at Interswitch Group advised that organizations can have more than one VAPT tool to ensure end to end assessment is absolutely covered.

Surge in mobile breaches?

Despite some rays of light emerging, the bad news still seems to outweigh the good. In 2021, “South Africa had 230 million threat detections in total, while Kenya had 72 million and Morocco 71 million,” according to AFRIPOL.

“As an organization big or small, it is important that everyone practices a healthy cyber environment as they provide best-in-class mobile apps for their users”, the webinar agreed.
